RTX's Electro-Optical System Design Department in El Segundo is seeking an Electro Optical Systems Engineer to support advanced EO systems including imagers, LIDAR, and directed energy. You will assess mission requirements, derive system and subsystem requirements, and contribute to IV&V planning.

You will join a design team and lead requirements engineers, system architects, and analysts on an on-site program.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Optical or related STEM major.
• Experience with electro-optical infrared imagery, focal plane technology, lenses, or apertures.
• Experience with optical principles including geometrical optics, physical optics, imaging systems.
• Hands-on experience with optical testing or alignment.
• Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Internship or project experience related to opto-mechanical engineering or photonics is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• EOS System Architects and System Design Engineers lead system concepts.
• Integrated Product Teams: Lead Systems Engineers and Chief Engineers.
• Requirements Engineers define and manage system requirements.
• EO Systems Analysts contribute to design and analysis activities.
• Support verification and test activities and IV&V planning.
