Zusammenfassung

RTX is seeking an Electro-Optical Systems Engineer to join the Advanced Products & Solutions Mission Area in Goleta, CA. The role focuses on designing and building imagers, EO tracking, LIDAR, and directed energy systems while deriving design and performance requirements from mission needs.

This onsite position requires collaboration with integrated product teams, developing requirements, and supporting IV&V planning to ensure system performance and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Physics, Optical, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
• Experience with electro-optical infrared imagery, focal plane technology, lenses or apertures.
• Experience with fundamental optical principles including geometrical optics, physical optics, imaging systems, aberrations, or detectors.
• Hands-on experience through coursework or lab work with optical testing or alignment.
