Job summary

Nexus Engineering Group is seeking an entry-level Electrical Drafter/Designer to assist in design and drafting tasks for electrical systems across projects. The role involves producing detailed electrical drawings and diagrams while adhering to codes and client requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree and has basic experience with AutoCAD and related Autodesk tools. You will work within a collaborative EPCm team, contributing to successful project delivery and continuous

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent technical education.
1–2 years of design/drafting experience preferred.
Proficient in 2-D CAD; 3-D CAD and Autodesk products a plus.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical highly desired.
Knowledge of field investigations, codes and standards.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Design and drafting services that meet client requirements and conform to applicable codes and standards.
Produce electrical distributions, one-line diagrams, schematics and interconnection diagrams.
Create plans for lighting, grounding, power, heat tracing and related details.
Prepare conduit and cable schedules and related drawings.
Develop detailed electrical drawings for projects.
