Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Portland, OR is seeking an Associate Broker who will participate in a 13-week training program and support senior brokers in business development, client presentations, and market research. The role requires 1–4 years of CRE or B2B sales experience and a willingness to obtain a state real estate license within 90 days.

You will interact with owners and C-Suite executives, contributing to proposals, market analyses, and transaction documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–4 years of commercial real estate or B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrable success in business development and sales production.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
• State Real Estate License (must have within 90 days of hire) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend JLL University (13-week training, development, and networking program) for new Associate Brokers.
• Support senior brokers in business development and outreach to new leads (cold calls, warm calls, emails).
• Work with senior brokers on new business proposals and create property books and presentations.
• Develop materials for clients (lease comparisons, market overviews, presentations).
• Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiation, evaluation, and documentation.
• Provide clients with industry and market information and maintain prospect contacts.
• Contribute to local market research requests (market snapshots, overviews, quarterly decks).
• Review and understand financial models, cash flow projections, and valuation models.
