Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer to support construction projects in the United States. This role reports to a Project Manager or Superintendent and helps manage all aspects of project delivery from initial coordination through closeout.

You will work with owner representatives, architects, engineers and subcontractors, assisting with estimating, budgeting and change management while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline or Construction Management.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and basic business principles to monitor expenses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers and site subcontractors.
• Assist in estimating and bidding processes and track costs to manage project budget.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals and change orders.
• Provide field support to ensure contract compliance and quality control.
• Document technical, financial and personnel aspects of each project.
• Support project schedules and milestones.
