Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer to support project management on construction sites in the United States. You will coordinate with owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors and subcontractors while assisting in estimating, budgeting and contract documentation.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and change orders, providing field support for quality and safety, and tracking project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology or Construction Management, Construction Technology.
• Knowledge of engineering principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and site subcontractors.
• Assist in managing estimating and bidding processes and tracking costs.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals and change orders to support project success.
• Provide field support to ensure contract compliance, quality control and site maintenance.
• Document each phase of the project and track milestones and safety requirements.
