Job summary

First Bank of Wyoming is seeking a Credit Analyst I to assist commercial lenders across the lending process, including spreading financials and preparing credit memos. The role supports portfolio management, loan closings, and ongoing covenant monitoring in a fast-paced banking environment.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of related experience and at least an associate degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, with a Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience required.
• Associate's Degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics is required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewing commercial loan requests (real estate, construction, C&I, SBA 7A/504/USDA).
• Prepare credit memos and analyze financial statements/tax returns.
• Review loan packages for structure, risk, and covenants; participate in loan committee discussions.
• Support closings, portfolio management, annual reviews, and problem loan reporting.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and obtain training to review appraisals.
