Job summary

First Bank of Wyoming is seeking a Credit Analyst I to support commercial lenders across the division. You will underwrite loan requests, spread financial statements, prepare memos, and assist with portfolio management and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of related experience with an associate degree in business, finance, or economics; a bachelor’s is highly preferred. This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of similar or related experience.
• Associate’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewing commercial loan requests (real estate, construction, C&I, SBA 7A/504/USDA).
• Prepare credit memos through nCino per loan policy and regulations.
• Spread and analyze financial statements and tax returns; complete financial charts.
• Review loan packages for structure, analysis, collateral, risk rating and covenants.
• Participate in loan committee meetings and discussions.
• Support loan officers with closings, portfolio management, and reviews.
• Monitor covenants and construction loan management via the Built system.
• Collaborate with third‑party vendors (accountants, title companies).
• Obtain credentials to perform appraisal reviews for the division.
• Complete required bank training courses within time frames.
• Comply with laws (BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC).
• Provide superior customer service and maintain professionalism.
• Maintain regular attendance and a professional appearance.
• Attend training and bank functions.
• Maintain a clean work area and protect customer privacy.
