Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Decatur, AL is seeking a Civil Engineer with 1–3 years of civil-site experience to support the design of a wide range of projects. You will perform calculations, assist with drafting, and collect field data under supervision.

Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering is required, EIT preferred. Relocation may be considered; hybrid/onsite options exist with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) registration strongly preferred and may be required.
• 1–3 years of civil-site engineering experience in the industrial setting; other sectors may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Produce low complex, complete design calculations and assignments
• Provide design assistance on larger and more complex assignments
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies
• Assist with drafting of plans and details for the completion of engineering drawings
• Perform fieldwork to gather data, check tie-ins, and provide construction support
• Develop written construction specifications that define the scope of work, provide specific instruction, and prescribe quality standards
• Perform land development and zoning code research for civil-site development projects
• Work with discipline lead engineer in identifying scope changes in projects
• Review and check submittal drawings and documentation
