Bohler’s Gaithersburg, MD office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring exciting land development projects to life, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Learn every stage of site design from concept through construction with mentors.
• Create site layouts and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review and address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and submittals.
• Attend site visits and coordinate with project teams.
