Bohler Engineering Group in Charlotte, NC seeks an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) to join our team and grow through hands-on experience and mentorship. You will assist with site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater design on diverse projects, learning from seasoned engineers and project managers.

Your role focuses on developing practical design skills, collaborating with colleagues, and applying design standards while supporting regulatory reviews and field observations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; training available if needed.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with mentors to learn every stage of site design from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research zoning ordinances and jurisdictional regulations relevant to projects.
• Address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Engage in Bohler Learning & Development programs for skill growth.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with teams.
