Job summary

Bohler’s Warrenton, VA office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real land development projects. You will work with engineers, designers, and project managers to design sites, including grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

Qualifications

• Requires a civil engineering degree with 0–1+ years in land development site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; training provided if not proficient.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects (commercial, residential, industrial, mixed-use) from concept through construction.
• Learn site design stages from seasoned engineers and mentors.
• Create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Assist in preparing stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Participate in Bohler Learning & Development programs for training.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with teams.
• Engage in professional and business organizations to build your network.
• Perform other responsibilities per company policies.
