Bohler’s Warrenton, VA office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and make an impact. You will work with engineers, designers, and PMs on site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management for commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets.

You’ll participate in mentorship, gain hands-on CAD experience, and contribute to real projects while advancing your engineering career in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0–1+ years of site design and permitting experience or internship.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; training provided if needed.
• Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with engineers and mentors to learn site design from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and submittals.
• Participate in Bohler’s Learning & Development programs for training.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with teams.
• Engage in professional and business organizations to build your network.
