Job summary

Bohler's Herndon, VA office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. You will work with engineers, designers, and project managers on land development projects, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

This role offers mentorship, real project exposure across commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets, and hands-on AutoCAD Civil 3D training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-1+ years of site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient).
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• EIT certification helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater design.
• Work with engineers, designers, and PMs to bring projects to life.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts and grading plans.
• Review design manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Support submittals and project coordination.
