Job summary

Bohler's Bowie, MD office seeks an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute on real land development projects. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers on site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create layouts and designs while engaging in Bohler's Learning & Development programs to build technical and professional skills from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient).
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Learn site design from concept through construction with mentors.
• Create site layouts, grading plans, and utilities using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Address regulatory comments and assist with redesigns as needed.
• Support stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Participate in Bohler's Learning & Development programs.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams.
