Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to contribute to small projects or parts of larger projects under supervision. You will perform design and calculations, assist in data collection, and support senior staff in interpreting codes and standards.

Field work and collaboration across disciplines are expected to grow your practical experience. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering with EIT and have 0–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering and EIT.
• 0-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs civil engineering design using software (AutoCAD, Bentley).
• Coordinates with other disciplines under supervision of a senior engineer/designer.
• Performs field work and engineering calculations.
• Assists with data collection and design decisions.
• Interprets and verifies codes and standards.
• Develops portions of engineering reports.
