Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in California is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to work on smaller projects under the close supervision of a senior engineer. You will evaluate, specify, and engineer systems or products for a project with routine tasks and field work.
You will assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity, perform calculations, and help collect data to support design decisions. This role offers growth within a safety‑conscious environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and EIT.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Ability to interpret sketches, drawings and building programs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Performs civil engineering design using AutoCAD and Bentley.
- Supports coordination with other disciplines under senior engineer guidance.
- Performs field work as directed by senior staff.
- Performs engineering calculations with standard software.
- Assists with data collection and supporting design decisions.
- Develops portions of engineering reports for projects.
