Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Junior Civil Engineer to assist in the design and analysis of civil projects under supervision. You will work on smaller projects and support senior staff with calculations, field work, and data collection.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with EIT, 0–3 years of experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D. The role involves coordination with other disciplines and some travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) and EIT.
• 0–3 years of experience in civil engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D related workflows.
• Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, and programs and to communicate technical ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering design using AutoCAD, Bentley.
• Coordinate with other disciplines under supervision of a senior engineer.
• Perform field work as directed by a senior engineer.
• Carry out engineering calculations using standard software.
• Assist with data collection to support design decisions.
• Develop portions of engineering reports for projects.
