The City of New York is seeking a Junior Capital Budget Analyst to support the Division of Finance and Procurement in managing the capital budget. The role involves preparing budget submissions to OMB, CP documentation, and ensuring alignment with the Capital Commitment Plan for contract registration.

Citizens must have work authorization in the U.S. and meet residency requirements. The position is full-time with 35 hours per week in LIC, NY.

Formación

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of related experience.
• Equivalency acceptable in lieu of education/experience.
• NYC capital budget and FMS experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing the agency's capital budget for budget submissions to OMB and respond to OMB questions.
• Prepare CP documents and ensure project scopes align with the Capital Commitment Plan and eligibility requirements.
• Update Capital forecasts in FMS, forecast task/change orders, and track plan progress to fiscal-year targets.
