NiSource Inc. is seeking a Drafter to create, revise, and maintain 2D CAD drawings for natural gas distribution and transmission pipelines.

You will translate project information into accurate drawings, collaborating with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to support new business, public and system improvements, and maintenance projects. Role includes both Drafter 1 and Drafter 2 levels with increasing AutoCAD proficiency, GIS data integration, and site data processing responsibilities;

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates degree in Drafting/Engineering Technology is preferred.
• Certified Drafter (CD) from ADAA is a plus.

Mansioni

• Assist engineering teams with drafting tasks.
• Review plans and documents to prepare accurate 2D drawings.
• Prepare and revise 2D drawings and schematics in AutoCAD (P&IDs, isometrics).
• Maintain records of drawing revisions and design changes.
• Support emergency response and after-hours needs as required.
