NiSource Inc. is seeking a Drafter to create, revise, and maintain 2D technical drawings for natural gas distribution and transmission pipelines using AutoCAD. You will translate project details into accurate drawings, collaborate with engineering teams, and assist in emergencies or after-hours support as needed.

Drafter 1 requires foundational AutoCAD exposure with ArcGIS integration, while Drafter 2 demands deeper hands-on drafting experience and independent work on drawings and revisions.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of Plant 2D.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Validate driver's license.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Mansioni

• Prepare and revise 2D drawings and schematics in AutoCAD, including P&IDs and isometrics.
• Review project plans and supporting documents to prepare accurate drawings.
• Maintain records of drawing revisions and design changes.
• Complete tasks independently with guidance from designers and engineering teams as needed.
• Support engineering and operations teams during emergencies and after-hours as needed.
