Job summary

The Budd Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a driven Junior Business Development Manager to join our sales team. You will hunt for new business, qualify leads, and drive growth across your territory while representing a respected industry leader in janitorial, specialty, and maintenance services.

You will balance field outreach with relationship-building, manage CRM records, and collaborate with internal teams to close deals and expand partnerships. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in route sales, inside sales, outbound call centers, or other sales environments.
• Exceptional written communication and strong public speaking abilities.
• High resilience when handling objections, with a goal-oriented drive.
• Highly organized and able to multitask and prioritize.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: experience with CRM/marketing automation (Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Pardot).
• Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive New Business: identify, research, and qualify fresh leads for services within your market.
• Own the Outreach: execute outbound campaigns and navigate cold calls to key decision-makers.
