Job summary
SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer for software systems engineering on aviation programs. This on-site role requires a Secret clearance and is based at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD.

Qualifications
- At least two years of software or systems engineering experience.
- Knowledge of avionics systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements.
- Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
- Conduct analysis of software defects.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRR/PRR/CDR etc.).
- Support the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
- Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDLRs.
- Develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
- Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals.
