Join Our Amwins Connect Team as a Jr. Broker Sales Representative in New York

This position is remote for current New York residents only. Pursuant to New York regulation, the compensation range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, including eligibility for performance-based bonuses.

The primary goal of this role is to collaborate across all areas to ensure a positive customer experience that leads to sales results. The role focuses on providing a customer-centric approach, modeling purposeful leadership, and driving results for sales managers, brokers, and the firm. The position is open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Triage Team Inbox
  2. Review incoming emails
  3. Categorize emails based on work type
  4. Create service requests for work handled by other departments
  5. Send initial replies to requests to maintain response times
  1. Small Group Quoting
  2. Provide revisions to existing quotes
  3. Create side-by-side benefit and rate illustrations in Excel
  1. New Business
  2. Enter supply orders into the system
  3. Send out enrollment materials via email
  4. Gather new business materials and create service requests for processing
  5. Collect materials to process Ease builds
  1. Data Integrity
  2. Set up new brokers and contacts
  3. Activate quoting and web access for brokers
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, intermediate Excel, and MS Teams
  • Experience with web-based audio/video conferencing tools
  • High School Diploma or GED; university degree preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and negotiate successful outcomes
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solutions-oriented mindset
