Job summary

Border States is seeking a Jobsite Material Coordinator in Fargo, ND to manage material handling, inventory, and job-site logistics. The role focuses on coordinating deliveries, communicating with warehouse, drivers and contractors, and ensuring accuracy and timely service across branch and customer locations.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, service-focused approach to problem solving and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior construction experience with large equipment or forklift is required.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical certification a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material deliveries, shipments, and transfers to customer sites and branch locations.
• Receive incoming freight and check for damage or shortages.
• Lead setup and management of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
• Maintain inventory levels and project schedules with up-to-date data.
• Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment and compliance with standards.
