Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Mechanic at our Columbus Engine Center to perform the overhaul, repair, and assembly of advanced jet engines. You'll need a High School diploma and relevant mechanic experience to ensure engines are restored to peak performance in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a mechanic role or appropriate technical training.
• Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience.
• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate.
• Hands-on experience in disassembly, inspection, assembly, or turbine engine test operations.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine maintenance.
• Utilize hand tools to assemble/disassemble and test a jet engine.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor processes to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives.
