Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Mechanic at our Columbus Engine Center to support the overhaul, repair, and assembly of advanced jet engines. In this hands-on position, you will ensure engines meet safety and performance standards while working in a collaborative environment.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and preferably possess aviation engine repair experience. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in aviation engine overhaul and repair is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team for engine maintenance and repair.
• Use tools for assembly and disassembly of jet engines.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Skills

Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License

Hands-on experience in assembly or disassembly

Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma

Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Experience with SAP

Education

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
