Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer to contribute to currency transaction reporting applications. The role is based in Irving, TX with a hybrid work model (2 days onsite / 3 days remote) for an 18-month contract.

The candidate will work on front-end stabilization (React) and data pipelines (Python/Spark) within an Agile team. Required 2+ years in software engineering, strong experience with Java and Spring Boot, and deep knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.

Role Overview

This role involves participating in initiatives and identifying opportunities for process improvements within Software Engineering. The position requires reviewing and analyzing software engineering assignments, presenting recommendations, and developing an understanding of function, policies, and procedures. This individual will contribute to a suite of applications for currency transaction reporting by performing maintenance and merging applications.

• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
• An understanding of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and application performance optimization.
• Awareness of Python and its usage in automation, scripting, or data processing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably GCP.
• Experience with OCP/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Spark.
