VRChat is seeking a Japan Business Development and Partnerships Associate to support partnerships, contract processes, and project execution. This part-time contract role collaborates with the Head of Japan Growth and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Japanese-English), highly organized, and capable of independently managing multiple priorities, while contributing to events, programs, and market research in Japan.

Qualifikationen

• 4–5 years of professional business experience.
• Experience coordinating with partners, vendors, or external stakeholders.
• Experience supporting contract-related processes and business operations.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and follow-through.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with partners, creators, and internal teams to support business initiatives.
• Assist with contract drafting, review, and execution tracking.
• Manage timelines, meeting logistics, and workflows across multiple initiatives.
• Prepare notes, presentations, and business materials for leadership.
• Communicate with global teams in English to ensure regional alignment.
• Support events and collaborations in Japan and with international partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis as needed.
