Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
• Native-level Japanese and business English proficiency required.
• 10+ years in startup/VC founding, management, or executive roles.
• Strong analytical thinking and financial modeling skills.
• Willingness to work from Silicon Valley headquarters; visa support available.

Responsibilities

• Source category-leading startups globally for investment and partnerships.
• Conduct research, due diligence, and financial modeling on potential investments.
• Lead deal negotiation discussions with portfolio companies and co-investors.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support investors with business development.
• Coordinate with Japanese investors and LPs; communicate investment details.
• Support establishment of new funds and fundraising efforts.
• Manage daily communications with potential investors and clients.
