Job summary

Meridian International Center seeks a Program Associate to support the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). You will work in a two-person team, handling administrative tasks, travel arrangements, and program documents under supervision of senior staff.

The role is based in Washington, DC, with partial remote work possible until further notice; MD/DC/VA residence required. Contract through 2026 with potential extension pending funding.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree is required.
• 0-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare visitors' biographic information using the database.
• Create welcome materials and sightseeing information.
• Disburse, track, and reconcile funds (per diem, allowances, travel advances).
• Arrange and troubleshoot program logistics within budget limits.
• Coordinate with interpreters and liaisons on project details and briefings.
