Job summary

GDIT seeks an ITSM Integration Engineer to own a portfolio of enterprise IT service management platforms in a secure environment. You will configure, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and extend COTS systems to support operational requirements.

This role centers on platform administration, systems integration, workflow automation, configuration, and troubleshooting across multiple tools. Some custom development may be required, including middleware, API integrations, and scripting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in systems administration or integration.
• IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE) required.
• Experience configuring and integrating COTS platforms such as enterprise ticketing, monitoring, and identity management tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and extend enterprise platforms such as Jira Service Management and Active Directory/LDAP.
• Design, implement, and sustain integrations between enterprise applications using APIs, webhooks, middleware, scripting, and vendor-supported connectors.
• Build and maintain workflows, automations, plugins, and configuration-based extensions across COTS platforms.
• Develop custom scripts, utilities, lightweight applications, and middleware components as required to support integration, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Translate customer and operational requirements into sustainable technical solutions using configuration, integration, and custom development as appropriate.
