Job summary

Community College of Aurora is seeking an IT Work Study Assistant at the CentreTech Campus in Aurora to provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues. You will help set up devices and classroom technology, support college events, and assist with IT documentation and inventory.

The role offers hands-on experience in academic IT operations and is restricted to CCA students eligible for Federal Work-Study. Strong English skills and an IT-focused education path are expected.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 40 pounds and stand on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Set up and maintain devices and classroom equipment.
• Log IT support tickets and escalate issues when needed.
• Assist with network/Wi‑Fi issues and inventory.
• Support hybrid or virtual class sessions by managing webcams, microphones, and screens.
