Job summary

Sinclair Community College is seeking an Information Technology Technician (Off-Campus) to support over 1,200 off-campus workstations and campus devices. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network components across multiple sites, and help image servers and manage hardware inventory.

This role starts at $47,087 per year and offers strong benefits, professional development, and pension options.

Qualifications

Associate degree in CS or related field required.
Minimum 1 year of experience supporting a large multi-user environment.
Batch, PowerShell and VB Script knowledge required.
Must pass a Prison Contractor background check.
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Sinclair’s insurance requirements.
Strong electronics, basic networking, and analytical troubleshooting preferred.
Ability to adapt to changing environment to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

Support off-campus tickets and emergency requests for remote sites.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot notebooks and PCs on and off the SCC network.
Maintain off-campus imaging servers and build distributable images.
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with supervisor for parts.
