Job summary

Wilson Technology Group seeks an IT computer and network technician to support clients in the Charlotte area with onsite and remote services. You will troubleshoot servers, desktops, printers, and networking equipment, using phone and remote tools, with occasional field visits.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and documentation. Local candidates only; travel and lifting requirements apply. Opportunities exist in an MSP setting with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Help Desk Experience (1 year minimum).
• Understanding of Windows Server versions and Active Directory; DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Exchange.
• Understanding of Office 365, Google Apps, or hosted Exchange.
• Routing, switching, and wireless setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with MSP RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, Kaseya, Datto, Autotask).
• Excellent customer service attitude and clear communication.
• Ability to lift >50 lbs and travel with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level help desk support to clients over the phone and via remote access tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers, computers, printers, and networking gear.
• Travel onsite to client locations for troubleshooting and installations.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver timely resolution for clients.
• Develop and maintain consistent documentation and coordination with staff.
• Ability to work on projects and go above and beyond to support clients.
