Job summary

BorgWarner is offering an IT Technician Intern position in Hendersonville, NC, within its Industrial Solutions arm. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with staff and IT infrastructure teams.
• Ensure quality services are performed to the agreed SLA.
• Follow specified systems, processes and methodologies for monitoring and support.
• Understand Incident, Problem and Change Management principles.
• Ensure first-class IT Service Delivery across locations for infrastructure services.
• Resolve remote and on-site issues to customer satisfaction.
• Support the setup of processes around Service Management.
• Provide general Desktop & Laptop support.
• Configure devices according to corporate standards for deployment.
• Desktop application installation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain Licenses Management and version control.
• Participate in Hardware Refresh Projects.
• Maintain client security settings (e.g. admin rights, software installs).
• Provide support by phone, email, chat, etc.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Computer Engineering or similar
