Job summary

BorgWarner in Hendersonville, NC is hiring a Production Assembler for our Industrial Solutions team. This role will help build a brand-new state-of-the-art facility dedicated to power generation systems for data centers and microgrid applications.

You will work alongside engineers and maintenance staff, perform assembly, testing, and troubleshooting, and contribute to safety, quality, and Lean initiatives in a startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or technical production.
• Experience operating and improving production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production equipment.
• Assemble, inspect, test, and verify products using mechanical aptitude.
• Read and apply blueprints and engineering specs.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Use measuring tools to verify quality and process performance.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and promote safety.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance to drive improvements.
