Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an IT Technician Intern for its Industrial Solutions hub in the United States. The intern will support the IT Customer environment, enhance desktop services, and assist with high-level meeting support and root-cause analysis.

On-site duties include AV, security systems, and printer management. The role emphasizes collaboration with IT infrastructure teams, adherence to SLAs, and exposure to incident and change management, with housing/travel support options available for

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
Strong customer focus and service delivery.
Process management; drive for results.
Listening and action oriented; comfortable presenting technical topics.
Problem solving with technical skills; able to engage vendors or partners.
Self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to learn the global enterprise.

Responsibilities

Support IT Customer environment and desktop support.
Assist in high-level meeting support and root-cause analysis.
Support IT facility-related services such as audio-visual, security systems, printers/copiers.
Provide on-site support for IT infrastructure teams as needed.
Maintain relationships with staff and IT infrastructure teams.
Ensure services meet the agreed SLA and follow incident/change management principles.
