Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an IT Technician Intern to support desktop environments and IT services at our Arden, NC location. You will assist in on-site IT tasks, contribute to incident resolution, and help connect plant personnel with Central IT while learning our global enterprise practices.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering, with strong communication, proactive service mindset, and the ability to work with staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Helps to build and maintain good relationships with staff and IT infrastructure teams.
• Tracking all Service Delivery tickets to connect staff with Central IT.
• Ensures quality services are performed to the agreed SLA.
• Supports the setup of processes around Service Management.
• Obtain and update ticket reports to create Service Delivery insides.
• General Computer Desktop & Laptop support and device configuration.
• Desktop Application installation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain Licenses Management and version control.
• Printer installation, configuration & support.
