Job summary

Los-Rios-Community-College-District is seeking an experienced technician to support faculty, staff, and students with hardware, software, and lab operations in a college environment. Under supervision, the technician tracks and manages computer assets and provides technical assistance to users.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with IT specialists to maintain college and lab systems integrity and reliability.

Qualifications

Associate degree in computer sciences or closely related field with one year of directly related experience or two years of directly related experience, or a combination totaling four years.
Equity-minded focus and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds in an educational environment.
Education must be from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Tracks and manages computer assets; serves as a technical consultant to faculty, staff, and students.
Assists faculty, staff, and students with hardware, software, and problem reporting; troubleshoots and repairs hardware and software problems.
Installs and supports hardware and software in a lab environment; maintains system operation and lab integrity.
Works with IT Specialists to maintain college and lab systems integrity; assists students with procedures and skill development.
