Job summary

Heritage Companies seeks an IT Technician I to support a broad range of technology across hotels, restaurants and destinations. You will assist employees on-site and remotely, install and maintain devices, and manage service requests using Freshservice.

You will help onboarding, access controls, and support POS and PMS systems for guest experiences. You will travel between Heritage properties, perform basic networking tasks, and help ensure secure, reliable IT operations across our NM/AL

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support or help desk experience.
• Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, Google Workspace and basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to travel between Heritage properties and work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays or overnight assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support to employees on-site and remotely, resolving common hardware, software, account and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, Chromebooks, mobile devices, printers and related technology.
• Document and manage service requests through Freshservice, escalating complex or high-impact issues when appropriate.
• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, user accounts and access controls through Google Workspace.
• Provide initial support for POS, PMS, guest-room technology and other hospitality systems.
• Assist with network equipment, Cat6 cabling, preventative maintenance, cybersecurity tasks and technology deployments.
• Maintain accurate technology asset records, documentation and equipment inventories.
• Travel between Heritage properties to provide on-site technology support as needed.
