Job summary

The Rangers MLB in Arlington, TX is seeking a versatile IT Technician to ensure reliable operation of desktops, laptops, tablets and related devices. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide hands-on support with strong customer service while adhering to IT standards.

Responsibilities include configuring hardware, assisting with Active Directory and Okta, maintaining ticket records, and supporting printers and conference room technology.

Qualifications

• 3 years in a technical support role or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, peripherals, and basic networking.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team.
• Experience with Windows and macOS and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for users.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and standard software.
• Assist with user account administration (Active Directory and Okta) and password resets.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN connectivity.
• Create, update, and close support tickets accurately in the IT ticketing system.
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and asset inventory.
• Support peripherals and equipment such as printers, docking stations, scanners, and conference room tech.
• Follow IT policies and security standards to protect systems and data.
• Other duties as assigned.
