Job summary

The Texas Rangers are seeking a versatile IT Technician to ensure reliable operation of desktops, laptops, tablets, and related tech. You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, device setup, and day-to-day support while upholding IT standards.

Responsibilities include resolving hardware/software issues, assisting with AD/Okta, managing tickets, and supporting printers and conference room tech. Must have 3 years in tech support and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a technical support role.
• Solid understanding of computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and basic networking.
• Strong problem solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and standard software.
• Assist with user account administration including AD and Okta.
• Troubleshoot network issues (LAN, WiFi, VPN).
• Create and manage support tickets and document resolutions.
