Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line seeks an IT Technical Support Specialist to keep systems running and users connected across the Denali Employee Community. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, install devices, and coordinate network-related tasks to maintain productivity.

This seasonal full-time role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience in IT, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in the computer field.
• Broad-based knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
• Experience in networked environments.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and resolves user hardware and software problems.
• Installs PCs, printers, software, and terminals.
• Assists with file server backups and data/voice cabling and connections.
• Coordinates vendor-provided repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains inventory of computer hardware and assists with departmental projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position evaluates and resolves user hardware and software problems.
• Installs PCs, printers, software, and terminals.
• Position also assists with file server back-ups and installs data/voice cabling and connections.
• Coordinates vendor-provided repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains inventory of computer hardware and assists with departmental projects as required by departmental supervision.

REQUIREMENTS

• This job normally requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience in the computer field.
• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with broad-based knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
• This job normally requires demonstrated experience in networked environments.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
