Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist for Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge to keep systems running and users connected.

You will troubleshoot hardware, resolve software issues, and guide users through tech challenges to maintain productivity. As part of a seasonal full-time team, you’ll support a fast-paced lodge environment, collaborate with IT colleagues, and contribute to reliable operations while delivering excellent guest and staff

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in the computer field.
• Proficiency in computer applications with broad hardware, OS, and software knowledge.
• Experience in networked environments.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age 18 to reside in company housing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Resolve user hardware and software problems.
• Install PCs, printers, software, and terminals.
• Assist with file server backups and data/voice cabling installations.
• Coordinate vendor repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain IT hardware inventory and support departmental projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position evaluates and resolves user hardware and software problems.
• Installs PCs, printers, software, and terminals.
• Position also assists with file server back-ups and installs data/voice cabling and connections.
• Coordinates vendor-provided repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains inventory of computer hardware and assists with departmental projects as required by departmental supervision.

REQUIREMENTS

• This job normally requires an Associates degree or equivalent experience in the computer field.
• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with broad-based knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
• This job normally requires demonstrated experience in networked environments.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
