Job summary

South Central Louisiana Human Service Authority (SCLHSA) seeks an IT Technical Support Analyst 1-3 to deliver technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable IT resources for the community services team in Louisiana.

The role involves managing deskside support, collaborating with multiple departments, and contributing to mission-driven technology operations in Laplace or Houma locations.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the education/experience combinations listed.
• Alternative substitutions and certifications may be accepted at hire.
• Experience in IT support and government or enterprise environments is a plus.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to design, develop, install, and test in-house software packages.
• Provide technical support for Windows OS, Office, Outlook, and antivirus software; develop standards and procedures.
• Troubleshoot deskside computers and replace hardware as needed.
• Serve as lead worker, train staff and contractors on new and existing software.

Education

Three years IT experience

Six years full-time experience or equivalent

Associate's degree in information technology + 1 year IT experience

Bachelor’s degree + 1 year IT experience

Bachelor’s degree + 24 semester hours in IT/CS/ENG/Math/Business Analytics

Experience substitution: 30 semester hours = 1 year

Certifications may substitute for education/experience
