Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee in California, offering extensive hands-on training and a path to a Recruiter role. You'll recruit IT consultants, manage the candidate experience, and collaborate with account managers on client needs.

Initial training pays $18.75 per hour for 13 weeks; afterwards you earn a base salary of $70,304 per year plus weekly commissions and performance bonuses, with a competitive benefits package including a 401(k) match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience or Associate’s Degree with 3+ years in a customer-facing role.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit IT consultants and serve as the main contact throughout the recruiting cycle.
• Build relationships with consultants and provide career coaching.

• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions.
• Advise account managers on skills, labor rates, and hiring timelines.
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates.
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge within skill or industry areas.
