Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Recruiter Trainee who will undergo extensive hands-on training before progressing to a Recruiter role. You will recruit IT consultants, build relationships, and leverage AI tools to source and coach talent. The position includes a base salary with commissions and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associates Degree and at least 3 years of full-time professional experience OR 4 years of full-time professional experience in a customer facing role
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team environment and relate to diverse groups of people
• Interest in a commission-driven, performance-based environment
• Willingness to learn and experiment to find best solutions

Responsibilities

• Recruit top IT consultants and serve as the main point of contact throughout the recruiting cycle
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants by providing career coaching on market trends, labor rates, resume creation, interviewing techniques, and emerging skills
• Develop effective sourcing strategies leveraging tools and technologies, including in-house AI tools
• Use AI-generated insights to make data-driven decisions throughout the recruitment process
• Advise account managers and clients on skill availability, labor rates, hiring locations, and onboarding timelines
• Negotiate compensation packages to attract candidates for clients’ needs
• Demonstrate specialized knowledge within the aligned skill/industry/role specialization
