American Advanced Management Inc. seeks an IT Technician to assist with installing and maintaining network file servers and operating systems. You will ensure backups are made and stored securely, provide user support, and troubleshoot network problems.

The role requires travel to off-site locations and may involve overtime to meet department needs. The candidate should have an Associate degree in a related field, several years of networking experience, and a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science, data processing or related field preferred.
• Three years of networking experience is desired.
• Ability to install software and hardware on networking equipment and microcomputers.
• Familiarity with networking and personal computer software.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on servers, computers and peripheral equipment.
• Ability to communicate information to staff and the public in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability and desire to work as a member of a team
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and group situations
• Must have valid California driving license.

Responsabilités

• Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance and operation of Local Area Networks.
• Provide technical support and assistance to network users, such as password resets and creating email accounts.
• Install PCs, software and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with PC, network configuration and cabling.
• Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment.
• Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software and peripheral devices.
• Travel to off-site locations to support facilities.
