Job summary

Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative (SSVEC) is seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist to join our team in Willcox, AZ. The role provides hands-on technology support for devices, software, network connectivity, and cybersecurity across the cooperative.

You will troubleshoot end-user issues, support field crews, and maintain IT assets while ensuring reliable service to member-owners in southeastern Arizona. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or five years of directly related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
• Cisco and higher-tier CompTIA certifications are preferred.
• Must possess a valid Arizona Class D driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, software, phones, printers and other end-user tech.
• Support network and VPN connectivity, infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, software patching and outages.
• Troubleshoot end-user system issues and provide timely technical support.
• Install and support specialized technology including AV equipment and copper/fiber cabling.
• Maintain technology assets and recommend improvements to IT systems and service delivery.
• Provide field technology support as needed and assist during cybersecurity incident responses.
• Maintain positive working relationships with employees and members.
